Abstract:
We report on a case of a mediastinal mesenteric cyst occurred in a 30-years-old woman was admitted to the hospital due to chest pain of 3 months duration. Chest radiography revealed mediastinal mass. Computed tomography (CT) of the chest showed heterogeneous mediastinal mass with pleural effusion. The patient underwent open thoracotomy. Therefore, enterogenous cysts at ectopic locations should be kept in mind.
